Bring poker glory to your country this August! Join the Asian Poker Tour Macau as it presents its latest event: The Battle of the Nations! Team up with two of your friends and get the chance to take home prize money for your squad and triumphantly return to your country as poker heroes.

Here are the rules for this one-of-a-kind event:
• Tournament Type: No Limit Hold’em Freezeout
• Buy in (per team): HK$ 46,000 + 2,000
• Number of players per team: 3
• Each team is comprised of members from the same country who then competes against other teams from a different country; E.G.: Korea vs. Japan, Philippines vs. China, Australia vs. USA
• Blind levels: 20 minutes
• Starting chips: 3,000
• Structure:
 2 teams will face each other during the rounds
 Play will be 6-handed
 Tournament round will conclude once 1 winner remains. The winning member of that round (and the country they represent) will proceed to the next round

The Battle of the Nations event will be part of the highly anticipated Asian Poker Tour Macau 2009, which will be held at the Galaxy StarWorld Hotel and Casino in Macau from August 12 to 23, 2009.
